Imagine this place in the heart centre of one of the most enchanting destinations in the world… Imagine being in Bali, imagine being here.
Welcome to Bagus Jati.
The word yoga was born from the ancient Sanskrit word’ yuj’ which means to ‘join or unite’. Yoga is over 5,000 years old and a system grown from the knowledge and practices of the Vedas, the philosophical texts of Hinduism. The island of Bali is 98% Hindu and the only Island in the Indonesia archipelago to remain so. Bali is the world’s leading destination for yoga and meditation retreats. The combination of the country’s unique history and the wide variety of international yoga teachers practicing here makes it the perfect place to start and continue your yogic journey.
Yoga nourishes you on every level and it is equally important to feed the body, mind and spirit and here at Bagus Jati we concentrate on the practice of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control) and dhyana (meditation). Through the use of the Hatha yoga system we invite you to start and continue your yogic journey with us and experience feelings of total well being, release feelings of happiness, love, laughter, harmony and fun and achieve life’s true success, that of a peaceful mind.
