The Spa at Puri Mas

The Spa at Puri Mas is located at their mountainside Puri Mas Village, situated 1 km away from the beachside resort of Sengiggi. Set amongst gardens and aviaries it is also where the Dutch owner resides. Naturally landscaped gardens provide a most restful setting. They offer Lombok’s most varied Spa Schedule including many different massages [Traditional Indonesian, Japanese Shiatsu, Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi and Swedish], body scrubs [the Javanese Lulur, Balinese boreh, Lombok coffee and sea salt]. Special composite packages of 3 and 5 hours as well as a full day program are also available.

Puri Mas Luxury Garden Spa is the only Spa in Lombok recommended by Conde Nast Johansens Luxury Spas for the past three years.

Puri Mas Spa uses only the highest quality ingredients and products. Many of the products used are grown in the Spa Resort Gardens, and blended by our in house therapists.

SPIRITUALITY

Being a highly spiritual environment guests are able to find an inner peace that one often searches for, particularly when on holiday or in a transition period of life.

An ancient Javanese Joglow House has been transposed into a place of personal worship and contemplation.

Within this house you will find an open source of religion and prayer; In each of its four corners an object depicting the Hindu, Christian, Moslem and Buddhist beliefs is there to symbolise some but not all beliefs.

If you are already familiar with the arts of Yoga, Meditation and other forms of exercise, Puri Mas recommends you take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to enjoy exercising or meditating outdoors in the fantastic Lombok climate.

The Puri Mas Yoga Garden offers a peaceful, tranquil setting amongst the frangipani trees and herb garden, making your daily routine a complete pleasure.

Babor has some unbelievable treatments for the body, with flavours from Asia with their Scentao body treatment, Baborganics body ritual, and as good as it sounds “Cleopatra Body Treatment”.

 Treatments:

Traditional Massage [1.00 hours]
This Javanese therapy uses fragrant essential oils to massage the complete body, combining stretching, long strokes and gently pressure with the thumbs to improve blood circulation and ease stress.

Reflexology Package [1.00 hours]
Using acupressure on the reflex points of the feet, hands and face, build-ups of toxins will be dissipated.

Shiatsu Massage [1.00 hours]
Thsi Japanese massage method uses old Chinese tchniques. No oils are used as finger pressure is applied along the back and rear of the body. It reduces strains on the neck and shoulders.

Lomi-Lomi Massage [1.00 hours]
This Hawaiian massage method uses gentle rhythmic pressure all over the body with firm stretches along the length of the muscles.

Swedish Massage [1.00 hours]
A full body massage with aromatherapy oils. This method uses gentle stretching movements on the head, back and front of the body. It refrehes tired muscles and relieves stress.

Deluxe Balinese Boreh Therapy [2.00 hours]
A traditional Balinese body scrub of cloves, pepper, cinnamon and chilli powder rejuvenates the body. You then relax in a herbal bath known as Mandi Rempah.

Body Milk Wrap [2.50 hours]
After a massage with geranuim and ylang ylang esential oils, a gently body milk wrap is applied to moisturise your skin. A milk and lavender oil bath follows.

Exotic Tropical Body Spa & Wrap [2.50 hours]
A massage with coconut oil is followed by a coconut milk and honey body mask and wrap. Then a a coconut and vanilla scented milk bath completes this treatment.

Feminine Body Spa [2.00 hours]
A full body masge using a manadrin essential oil is followd by the application of a fresh papaya fruit and orange juice body mask. Finish with a flower bath.

Lombok Coffee Exfoliation [2.00 hours]
This is an exfoliating treatment of Lombok coffee, sandalwood and flowers combined with ginger and cinnamon roots.

Pedicure/Manicure [1.00 hours]
Your feet or hands are bathed in a flower bath of peppermint essential oil, then follows a gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and rough areas. Nails are cut and trimmed, cuticles pushed back and trimmed, an the skin creamed.

Refreshing Foot Spa [1.00 hours]
Begin with a warm mint and lemon foot bath, and a massage with peppermint oil for feet and legs. Finish with a pedicure.

Sea Salt Glow [2.00 hours]
Sea Salt is blended with oil perfumed with the essential oil of nutmeg. This glow exfoliates the skin, increases circulation and leaves the skin soft and supple. Followed by a green tea bath and a skin polish with oil of ginger.

Whitening Body Scrub and Mask [2.00 hours]
After a full body massage a whitening cream scrub exfoliates the skin. Your body is then coated with a whitening mask of your choice. There are three different compositions available.
